15 WSOC Players Tabbed Academic All-Big Ten

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Fifteen members of the Rutgers women's soccer team were named All-Big Ten Academic honorees, announced on Wednesday by the conference office.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Among the 75 overall Rutgers student-athletes recognized, junior defender Maggie Morash (Bernardsville, N.J.) was one of two Scarlet Knights to record a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The 15 women's soccer members of the All-Big Ten Academic team were among the 977 fall sport student-athletes honored and 170 women's soccer student-athletes recognized.
Last month, the Rutgers women's soccer team was named a College Women's Team Academic Award winner by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
The Scarlet Knights (13-6-1, 8-4-0 Big Ten), who earned their fifth NCAA Tournament bid in seven seasons in 2014, received the honor for the fourth consecutive season.
