ABOUT TENNESSEE
Tennessee has won two straight after falling at Chattanooga, 67-63, and Texas, 72-59, to close out November. The Lady Vols rebounded by defeating St. Francis, 111-44, and were victorious at Lipscomb, 85-51. In its last two games, Tennessee has won by a 50.5 point margin.
Nia Moore is one of five Lady Vols averaging double figures on the season. She is pouring in 12.8 points per game while hauling in 6.5 boards. Second on the stat sheet is Bashaara Graves at 12.4 points along with a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per game.

She was two rebounds shy of tying the Rutgers women's basketball single game record. Sandy Tupurins grabbed 26 rebounds against William Paterson on Mar. 1, 1977.

Rutgers has won the battle of the boards in all nine games to date.
Betnijah Laney, who led RU in rebounding at 8.5 boards per game last season, has not missed a beat and is hauling in 13.7 rebounds per game in 2014-15. She is third nationally in both defensive rebounds per game (9.0) and total rebounds per game (13.7).
Laney had 17 double digit rebounding efforts last season.
NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP
Tyler Scaife, last year's American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, has led the Scarlet Knights in scoring in five of the season's first nine games and is averaging a team-second best 16.2 points per game.
Scaife has reached double figure scoring in 36 of her 46 career appearances.
She dropped in 25 points in the double overtime loss to #6 UNC, marking her third 20+ point game of the 2014-15 season and 10th of her career.

Point guard Syessence Davis averaged 2.9 steals per game last season, led the American and was ninth nationally in the category last season.
She recorded eight steals in last Sunday's 100-44 win over Davidson, tying for the most steals by a Scarlet Knight since 2005. Former teammate Erica Wheeler also had eight thefts at DePaul on Feb. 12, 2013.
With her three steals against Temple on Wednesday, Davis placed on name on RU's top 10 steals leaders list.

THEY SHOOT, THEY SCORE
The Scarlet Knights shot 56.1 percent (37-of-66) from the field on Wednesday night against Temple, marking the fourth time this season RU has shot over 50 percent from the floor.
On the season, Rutgers is shooting 47.6 percent ranking them 14th nationally and second among Big Ten schools.
SHARE AND SHARE ALIKE
The Scarlet Knights dished the ball out 27 times on Wednesday at Temple, tying for the most assists in a game this season. RU also had 27 assists in its 100-44 win over Davidson on Nov. 30.
Rutgers currently dished the ball out 18.7 times per game ranking them tops in the Big Ten and 10th in the country.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
The Scarlet Knights have finished with five in double figures twice this season. Most recently against Davidson on Nov. 30, as well as on Nov. 18 against Northeastern, as Betnijah Laney and Briyona Canty both collected double-doubles.
Betnijah Laney and Briyona Canty are the first Scarlet Knight duo since Rachel Hollivay (26 pts, 13 reb.) and Kahleah Copper (23 pts, 13 reb) against Howard on Nov. 22, 2013 to have two double-doubles in a game.
FROM SIXTH WOMAN TO STARTING LINEUP
Briyona Canty, who served as Rutgers' "sixth woman" a year ago, has a successful start at point guard in seven of the first eight games for the Scarlet Knights.
Canty captured her second career double-double with 12 points and a new career-high 10 assists in the win over Northeastern on Nov. 18. It was the second straight game the redshirt junior guard had reset her career mark in assists. She performed her first double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in RU's WNIT semifinal win at USF.

WNIT MVP Kahleah Copper reached the 20+ point milestone 11 times last season, the most since Brittany Ray did so seven times in 2009-10.

MORE THAN SCORING
While Tyler Scaife finished with 15 points on Nov. 25 at Wagner, she also tied her career-high with seven rebounds, all coming on the defensive end, and six assists.
Scaife tied her career-high dishing out the ball six times at Temple on Dec. 10, while also adding 10 points as one of four Scarlet Knights in double figures.
BLOCK PARTY
Rachel Hollivay swatted away five Hawk shots in RU's season opener and then again in the Scarlet Knights' first road game at LSU.
Hollivay has registered 26 games with three or more blocks.
She currently has 168 career blocks and needs 10 more blocks to move into fifth all-time on RU's career blocked shots list.
Hollivay ended last year with 127 rejections and is third (men or women) in blocks in a single season. Only Hamady Ndiaye (2009-10) and Roy Hinson (1982-83) on the men's side have blocked more shots in a single season, swatting away 145 and 144, respectively.

LIVING IN THE PAINT
Rutgers continues to dominate the paint just like they did last season.
RU is averaging 37.3 points in the paint through its first eight games of 2014-15, which included a season-high 50 in the No. 25 win at Wagner. It was the Scarlet Knights highest total inside since netting 52 paint points in last year's win over the Seahawks on Dec. 13, 2013, as well as against UCF on Feb. 15, 2014.
Only #6 UNC has outscored the Scarlet Knights in the paint as the Tar Heels had a 44-32 advantage on Dec. 4.
