TIP OFF
• The 2014 WNIT Champions had its season-opening six-game win streak halted on Thursday night with a thrilling 96-93 double overtime loss against #6 North Carolina in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. RU entered the game with the nation's longest active win streak with 12-straight victories dating back to last season.
• The Scarlet Knights had four in double figures led by a 25-point effort from Little Rock, Arkansas native Tyler Scaife and 24 points and 24 rebounds from senior Betnijah Laney.
• Laney's 24 rebounds set a RAC record (men's or women's) and is listed among the top rebounding efforts in the country this season.
• Additionally, Laney joined the 1,000 point club against the Tar Heels, becoming the 34th Scarlet Knight to accomplish the feat.

ABOUT ARKANSAS
Like the Scarlet Knights, the Razorbacks are coming off an overtime loss that snapped a six-game season-opening win streak. Ranking at No. 25 in the Associated Press Poll and receving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Poll, Arkansas fell 80-75 to South Dakota State on Thursday night.
South Dakota State, who reached the semifinals of the 2014 WNIT, went on an 11-2 run over the final 27 seconds of regulation to force overtime. The Jackrabbits went on to outscore Arkansas, 16-11, in overtime.
Four Razorbacks are averaging double figures on the season led by Kelsey Brooks at 17.3 points per game along with 6.6 rebounds per contest. Brooks poured in a game-high 28 points in the loss to the Jackrabbits.
Jessica Jackson is adding in 14.9 points and hauling in 6.4 rebounds, while Jhasmin Bowen is contributing 12.1 points along with 7.7 rebounds per game. Melissa Wolff rounds out the Arkansas double figure scorers at 10.4 points per game while grabbing in a team-leading 10.0 rebounds per outing. She

STREAKING
RU's nation leading active win-streak came to end with a 96-93 double overtime loss to #6 North Carolina in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 4. The loss snapped the Scarlet Knights' win streak at 12, which had dated back to last season's WNIT Championship run.
Rutgers took over the country's active win-streak after Stanford halted Connecticut's win streak at 47 with a 88-86 win on Nov. 17.

Point guard Syessence Davis averaged 2.9 steals per game last season, led the American and was ninth nationally in the category last season.
She recorded eight steals in last Sunday's 100-44 win over Davidson, tying for the most steals by a Scarlet Knight since 2005. Former teammate Erica Wheeler also had eight thefts at DePaul on Feb. 12, 2013.
Davis is currently 20th nationally and fourth in the Big Ten in steals averaging 3.1 per game.
She needs two more steals to rank among RU's top 10 in the category.

It was the Scarlet Knights highest total inside since netting 52 paint points in last year's win over the Seahawks on Dec. 13, 2013, as well as against UCF on Feb. 15, 2014.
Only #6 UNC has outscored the Scarlet Knights in the paint as the Tar Heels had a 44-32 advantage.
