Women's Golf Seventh after Day Two at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Rutgers women's golf is tied for seventh place out of 17 teams after two days of the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate, which continued Saturday at The Course at Yale. Through 36 holes, the Scarlet Knights have recorded a 617 (308-309), tied with Brown University and 23 strokes behind host and first place Yale.
Sophomore Taylor Clark continues to pace the Scarlet Knights with her second straight 75. At an eight-over-par 150, Clark is tied for 10th on the leaderboard, nine strokes off the lead set by Xavier's Shane Crutchfeld.
Junior Racquel Zurick improved on her opening-round 77 with a 76 Saturday. She is tied for 25th at 153 going into Sunday's final round.
Rounding out Rutgers's scorecard are junior Gabrielle Sacheli and freshmen Tatum Jackson and Emily Mills. Sacheli is tied for 44th with a 157 (78-79). Jackson has shot a 158 (78-80) so far, tying her for 49th. Mills made a solid improvement on her first-round 82 with a 79 Saturday. Her two-round 161 places her 65th.
Under the leadership of first-year head coach Kari Williams, the Scarlet Knights will return to the links Sunday morning for their final round.
