MSOC In The National Polls

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Riding a six-game win streak and following a week including a 2-0 victory at Army West Point and a 1-0 upset of then-No. 18 Ohio State, the Rutgers men's soccer team emerged in this week's national polls.
The Scarlet Knights (10-4-1 overall, 4-3-0 Big Ten) have two games remaining on the docket, wrapping up the home schedule vs. Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday along with the regular season finale at Maryland a week from Wednesday.
Rutgers checks in at No. 21 in this week's NSCAA Poll making its first appearance in the poll's Top 25 since the final poll of the 2011 season, when the Scarlet Knights reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament. RU also appears at No. 20 in the Soccer America Poll, at No. 21 in the TopDrawerSoccer Poll and at No. 22 in the College Soccer News Poll.
In the RPI, which is used to help determine the NCAA field, the Scarlet Knights vaulted up to No. 34.
