Women's Basketball Promotional Calendar Announced

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Post-game free throws for kids, concession deals, camo hats, retro logo t-shirts, mini basketballs, ugly sweater t-shirts and blankets are among the promotions coming to the RAC for the women's basketball season in 2015-16. The Junior Knights Dance Team, the Drums of Thunder, the Bucks County Bungee Jumpers, and Mutts Gone Nuts headline the halftime entertainment as the Scarlet Knights compete in their second season in the Big Ten.
Rutgers is hosting a "Swap for an R" day on February 18th against Michigan State. Fans will have the opportunity to trade in a t-shirt from a different college for a Rutgers t-shirt at the game.
The Scarlet Knights take to the court in the annual Play 4Kay game to be held on Sunday, February 21st against Maryland. The game will be a "pink-out" with the first 500 fans receiving pink-out shirts. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to help support Breast Cancer awareness. At halftime, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey will have a ceremony honoring the numerous people who have helped in the fight against cancer.
Fans can also pick up a Player of the Game trading card at the ticket table. A new Scarlet Knight will be featured every game.
