COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Rutgers women's lacrosse team fell, 17-7, Thursday night against No. 20/16 Ohio State at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Redshirt senior Lauren Sbrilli (Martinsville, N.J.) scored twice in the loss to the Buckeyes, who were the seventh ranked opponent this season for RU.

OSU pulled away late in the opening half and held RU to five more goals for the remainder of the contest. Also scoring for the Scarlet Knights were junior attacker Halley Barnes (Garnet Valley, Pa.) and sophomore attacker Kristina Dunphey (Hillsborough, N.J.).
