Men's Golf Concludes at Badger Invitational

Final Results
MADISON, Wisc. - Sophomore Toks Pedro (Lagos, Nigeria) finished tied for eighth with a four-over-par 220 (71-70-79) as the Rutgers men's golf team concluded the Badger Invitational in 11th place with a 913 (296-302-315) on Tuesday in Madison, Wisc.
Playing under rainy conditions during the third and final round, Kansas registered a one-over-par 865 (283 286 296) to finish first in the tournament. Miami (Ohio) claimed second place with a nine-over-par 873 (278 290 305), while Ball State concluded the invitational third with a 894 (289 296 309)
After two-straight days of under-par golf, Pedro concluded the tournament with a 79. Senior Jonathan Chang (Valencia, Calif.) finished tied for 39th with a 229 after shooting a 80 during the final round. Sophomores Matt Holuta (Indiana, Pa.) and Jack Panagos (Hillsborough, N.J.) concluded the third round tied for 64th (74-85-78) and 67th (75 75 89), respectively, while junior Chase Wheatley (Corona del Mar, Calif.) tied Holuta for the team low in the third round with a 78 to finish tied for 74th.
Competing as an individual, junior Ryan Rose (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) finished tied for 50th in the field with a 76 in the final round, the lowest score by a Scarlet Knight on day three. Rose concluded with a 232 (78-78-76) during the invite.
Rutgers quickly returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 3 and Sunday, Oct. 4, when the Scarlet Knights compete in the MacDonald Cup in New Haven, Conn.
