PISCATAWAY, N .J. - The Rutgers men's soccer team ends a four-game homestand on Tuesday night hosting the NJIT Highlanders at 7 p.m. First 500 fans will receive a Rutgers soccer silicone bracelet.

CLOSING OUT THE HOMESTAND
The Rutgers men's soccer team closes out a four-game homestand on Tuesday night with an in-state clash with NJIT.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off an overtime heartbreaker with Northwestern on Friday night falling 2-1 to the Wildcats. It was RU's fourth overtime game of the season.
Jason Wright gave Rutgers the 1-0 lead in the game's 23 minute, a lead RU would hold until the final two minutes of regulation. The junior Scarlet Knight posted his fourth goal of the year dribbling into the box and then shooting between a pair of Wildcats into the upper right corner.
The 88th minute, however, saw Northwestern knot the score at 1-1 and the Wildcats notched the golden goal with 44 seconds remaining in the first overtime.
ABOUT NJIT
While Rutgers wrapping up a four-game homestand, NJIT will be closing out a four-game road trip on Tuesday night with the Scarlet Knights. One of the Highlanders' contests, an Oct. 8 meeting with North Florida, was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.
NJIT comes to Yurcak Field with a 6-4-3 overall record and 3-1-0 Atlantic Sun mark. The Highlanders have gone 2-0-1 in their last three outings including a 1-0 win at USC Upstate on Saturday and a double overtime draw with Lafayette last Tuesday.
The Highlanders are led by Mamadou Guirassy and Rene White, both with 10 points on five goals. Victor Kausch, meanwhile, has contributed a goal and an assist.
In goal, Victor Pujades has posted six shutouts along with a 0.93 goals against average and .755 save percentage.
CLOSING IN ON THE TOP 10
With his fourth goal of the season on Friday night against Northwestern, junior Jason Wright collected his 65th point (27G, 11A). He is currently seven points away from joining the top 10 point leaders at Rutgers. Mike Shaw (93-96) and Richard Goodstat ('62-'64) currently stand in a tie for 10th place on the list with 72 points each.
NEWS AROUND THE NET
Goalkeeper David Greczek is currently second all-time at Rutgers in saves. The senior has made 340 stops since stepping foot "On The Banks".
Among all active Division I goalkeepers, Greczek is the NCAA Division I leader in career saves (340) and second in saves per game (4.86).
Greczek made a season-high nine saves in the double overtime draw with No. 4 Indiana along with eight saves in contests with No. 4 Maryland, No. 7 Creighton and No. 15 FGCU.
Greczek has registered 33 career games making five or more stops in his career and nine contests with eight or more saves.
