WBB Announces 2016-17 Promotions

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Schedule magnets, t-shirts, calendars, camo hats, headbands and halftimes including The Red Panda, The Amazing Sladek and Mutts Gone Nutts are among the promotions coming to the RAC for the women's basketball season in 2016-17.
In honor of Rutgers' 250th anniversary, fans can purchase tickets for $2.50 for the home opener on Friday, Nov. 11 against Chattanooga. RU will also plays host to Junior Knights Kids Club Day against the Lady Mocs.
The Scarlet Knights will also be signing postgame autographs following the 2017-16 opener with Chattanooga on Friday, Nov. 11, as well as following their matchup with Bucknell on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The Scarlet Knights will hold Healthcare Appreciation and First Responders Night on Thursday, Dec. 1 against Duke in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and Military Appreciation and Teacher Appreciation Day when Michigan State comes to town on Saturday, Jan. 14.
In conjunction with Military Appreciation Day, fans can participate in the "Hoops for Troops" initiative with an opportunity to donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces at a discounted rate of $10. Donated tickets are 80% tax deductible and contribute to priority points.
In addition to Junior Kids Club Night, the Rutgers t-shirt exchange takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 8 versus Indiana with attendees having the opportunity to trade in a t-shirt from a different college for a Rutgers t-shirt at the game.
Fans can also weigh in on the debate on Taylor Ham® vs. Pork Roll when RU welcomes Purdue on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Youth Sports Day will be celebrated along with senior night on Sunday, Feb. 26 against Ohio State.
