Why Murphy Chose Rutgers: "I've known Mike and [associate head coach] Meg [Ryan] for many years through club soccer at PDA and ODP. They are great people and coaches on and off the field. I also know many of the girls having played with them on various teams throughout the years. Having the opportunity to finish my college career at Rutgers and in the Big Ten is an honor and privilege that I am thankful for and I hope to contribute in any way I can."
