PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers Athletics will launch the “Hoops for Troops” initiative for Military Appreciation Day for both men’s and women’s basketball. The program gives basketball fans an opportunity to donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces.

Fans can purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate of $10 for the men’s basketball contest with Nebraska on Saturday, Jan. 21 and the women’s match-up with Michigan State on Saturday, Jan. 14.
Donated tickets are 80% tax deductible and contribute to priority points.
