Men’s Track & Field Continues Indoor Season at Towson Tiger Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. –Rutgers men's track and field returns from winter break to continue its indoor season at the Towson Tiger Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 13. The event hosted by TU will take place at The Armory in Bronx, New York.
LAST TIME OUT
The Scarlet Knights began the season at the TCNJ Winter Opener at The Armory with two event wins and five runner-up finishes on December 2.
Sophomore Tobi Tella claimed the triple jump with a leap of 15.18 meters (49' 9.75"), while classmate Jason Schweizer won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:32.62 as RU's event winners. The Scarlet Knights finished 1-2-3 in both those events.
Rutgers was also represented with runner-up times by freshman Edwyn Pierre in the 60-meter hurdles, junior Conor Murphy in the 5,000-meter run, and sophomore Patrick Warren in the long jump.
