
Gymnastics Releases 2019 Schedule

Free admission to all four home meets
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Under the direction of new head coach Umme Salim-Beasley, Rutgers gymnastics released its 2019 schedule on Thursday. The slate is comprised of 13 meets, including two at the Rutgers Athletic Center and two at the Livingston Gym.
Gymnastics is part of the Rutgers Athletics "R Dollar, Your Game" initiative, meaning free admission and parking to each of the four home meets. Click here for more information.
The Scarlet Knights will open the campaign in Mexico on Jan. 4 in the Cancun Classic with Michigan, Iowa State and West Virginia. RU will also hit the road week two for a quad meet at Bridgeport. The Big Ten and home opener is set for Jan. 19 versus Nebraska (Livingston Gym). The other conference home dual meets will be on Feb. 2 against Maryland (RAC) and the Friday after on Feb. 8 versus Penn State (Livingston Gym). Senior Day will be March 8, also a Friday, at the RAC in a quad meet with Towson, Centenary and Bridgeport.
The Big Ten shifted the qualifying Big Five meet to a neutral site earlier in the season. It will take place on podium on Feb. 23 in Toledo, Ohio (Huntington Center) in the same session as Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois and Minnesota. Penn State hosts the Big Ten Championships on March 23.
