PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 15 Rutgers field hockey will travel to No. 2 Maryland on Friday before hosting Georgetown on Sunday. Both games will be live streamed on BTN Plus. Sunday's game will be MySpace Awareness day, celebrating the 15-year anniversary of the founding of MySpace.

The Scarlet Knights are 8-3 on the season overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten. They average 1.15 goals against per game, which is the 8^th best in the nation.

Daphne Groothuis is fourth in the nation and second in the Big Ten in assists per game (0.82), she is also top 5 in the conference in points per game (1.91). Gianna Glatz has a 0.794 save percentage which is 9^th best in the nation. Austyn Cuneo and Linde van Schaik have 12 points on the season, which is second best on the team behind Groothuis, who has 21.

Maryland comes into the matchup 12-0 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten. Rutgers will be their ninth matchup this season against ranked opponents. They are coming off a 2-1 win against #8 Michigan and 4-2 win against No. 2 UConn last weekend. The Terps average 3.83 goals per game which is 5^th in the nation and best in the conference. Madison Maguire is third in the nation and best in the conference with 0.83 assists per game.

The Terps lead the all-time series 30-3-1. RU is looking for its first victory since 1998.

Georgetown enters the weekend, 8-3, having dropped two of their last four matchups. Georgetown will face Temple on the road on Friday night before facing RU on Sunday. Ciara Weets has the second best save percentage in the Big East (0.738). Cami Osborne leads the team with 8 goals on the season.

The Scarlet Knights lead the all-time series 11-6. RU has won the last three matchups in the series, with last matchup coming in 2013.
