Three Scarlet Knights Earn All-East Accolades at IC4A Championships

Scarlet Knights end 2018 strong with numerous career-best times
BRONX, N.Y. – Rutgers men's cross country concluded its 2018 campaign at the IC4A Championships on Saturday. The race took place at the Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
The Scarlet Knights placed in the Top 10, finishing eighth out of 18 teams. Senior Conor Murphy, junior Cole Pschunder, and sophomore Patrick Walsh all collected All-East accolades for their finishes.
Murphy led the squad with a career-best time of 23:15, crossing the line 12th. Pschunder added a career-best of his own with a mark of 23:34, finishing 22nd. Walsh bested his career time as well, crossing the line at 23:46 to round out the All-East performers.
Additionally, sophomores Billy Hill (25:19) and Genaro Anzalone (25:23) posted career-bests in the race. Freshmen Nicholas Hutchison (24:58), Younass Barkouch (25:26), Will Berger (25:28), Cade Hindley (25:49), and Cole Hindley (25:49) all added the best times of their rookie season.
