Walsh Leads Men’s Cross Country at the Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Rutgers men's cross country competed at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday morning. Junior Patrick Walsh led the Scarlet Knights in the 8K race for the first time this season.
Walsh finished first for RU with a time of 24:42.0, crossing the line 28th out of the 235-person field.
Senior Cole Pschunder came in next for the Scarlet Knights, clocking a time of 24:59.6. Junior Billy Hill rounded out the Top 3 Rutgers finishers with a time of 25:50.6.
RU placed 15th out of the 24 teams in the event. Stony Brook, Connecticut and La Salle completed the Top 3 teams, respectively.
Rutgers competes at the 2019 Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Sunday, Nov. 3 at Ohio State.
