Scarlet Knights Kickoff Thanksgiving Tournament Action With Drake on Thursday
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's basketball team takes its four-game season-opening win streak North as the Scarlet Knights take part in the Vancouver Showcase over the Thanksgiving holiday.

RU opens up play in the "winners-winners/losers-losers" bracket on Thursday with the Drake, who tops the espnW mid-major poll.
The Scarlet Knights will follow with either defending NCAA Champion and No. 1 Notre Dame or Gonzaga on Friday. Saturday's matchup will be either 2017 NCAA Champion and No. 13 South Carolina, East Tennessee State, No. 9 Oregon State or Western Kentucky.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a 65-39 win over Albany on Sunday afternoon, which saw four in double figures led by the third double-double effort of the season by senior forward Caitlin Jenkins.
Last Tuesday night, the Rutgers women's basketball team cruised to a 73-44 win over Central Connecticut State to give hall of fame head coach C. Vivian Stringer her 1000th career victory.
Stringer became the sixth women's basketball coach in NCAA history to achieve the historic coaching milestone.
STRINGER MILESTONE NUMBERS TO REMEMBER
Rutgers head coach Stringer has compiled a 1001-402 career record entering her the 48th season of coaching and joined the elite 1,000 career victory club on November 13 in the Scarlet Knight victory over Central Connecticut State.
Stringer is the sixth NCAA women's basketball coach and fifth NCAA Division I women's basketball coach to reach the milestone victory.
In 2013, Stringer became just the seventh coach - men's or women's - to reach the 900-win mark.
Stringer's 35 20-win seasons are second-best in women's basketball history. Former Tennessee head coach Pat Summit leads all coaches with 36 20-win seasons.
The Naismith and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Coach is the fifth active winningest Division I coach and sixth all-time in career wins in NCAA women's basketball history.

FAMILIAR FACE ON THE BENCH
Rutgers fans may notice a familiar face on the sidelines. South Carolina assistant coach Jolette Law is in her second season with the program and previously had been an assistant coach under C. Vivian Stringer at Rutgers from 1995-2007. During her 12 years "On The Banks", Law helped RU to a 257-125 record that included nine NCAA Tournament appearances, a NCAA championship game appearance and Big East title in 2007 and a Final Four appearance in 2000.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE DOWN
Senior Caitlin Jenkins has performed double-doubles three times in the first four games of the season.
In the season opener with defending NEC champion St. Francis (Pa.), the Sherevport, Louisiana native poured in 15 points and 15 rebounds. Last Tuesday night she added in 14 points and 12 rebounds in helping C. Vivian Stringer to her 1,000th win against Central Connecticut State.
More recently, Jenkins put away 12 points and 10 rebounds over Albany going a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line.
NATIONALLY SPEAKING
Thru the first three games of the season, Rutgers ranks among the top 10 nationally in five categories.
The Scarlet Knights ranked fourth in the nation in blocks (4) and fifth in blocks per game (7.8).
RU, who set a school record in rebounds in the season opener against St. Francis (Pa.), are third in rebounding margin (24.0), fourth in offensive rebounds per game (22) and seventh in rebounds per game (50.5).
Senior forward Caitlin Jenkins, meanwhile, finds her name listed seventh in double-doubles (3), fourth in field goal percentage (.815) and fourth in offensive rebounds per game (6.0).
As a team last season, Rutgers appeared nationally in the top 25 in four statistical categories last season including ranking ninth in total steals (375), tenth in steals per game (11.7), 20th in blocked shots per game (5.3) and 24th in total blocked shots (168).
