LINCOLN, Neb. (Nov. 3, 2018) – Facing its fourth Top 10 opponent of the season, Rutgers volleyball dropped a Big Ten match at No. 8 Nebraska on Saturday night in front of 8,332 fans in the Devaney Center.

STANDOUT STATS

Senior outside hitter Sahbria McLetchie led Rutgers in kills with eight, her 17^th match in 2018 at the head of the attack. She also had a team-high six digs.
Junior middle Jasmine Stackhouse and freshman middle Merle Weidt each had three block assists, part of Rutgers' six total team blocks.
Junior libero Karysa Swackenberg served up two aces to bring her season total to 22.

THE MOMENTS

Set 1 | Coming off a Rutgers' timeout and trailing 9-4, sophomore right side Kamila Cieslik kept a point alive with a full body dive, and the Scarlet Knights capitalized with a kill by McLetchie to win the point.
Set 1 | Following a delayed appeal for review by Nebraska, the Scarlet Knights went on a 4-2 scoring run including a double block by Merle Weidt and Sahbria McLetchie to gain some momentum near the end of the set.
Set 2 | After an unsuccessful review attempt by Rutgers, Nebraska went on a 10-1 scoring run to take control of the second set.

UP NEXT
The Scarlet Knights get set for its final road trip of the season, at No. 4 Illinois on Friday, Nov. 9 and at Northwestern on Saturday, Nov. 10. Both matches are slated for an 8 p.m. ET start on BTN Plus.
