LINCOLN, Neb. (Nov. 3, 2018) – Facing its fourth Top 10 opponent of the season, Rutgers volleyball dropped a Big Ten match at No. 8 Nebraska on Saturday night in front of 8,332 fans in the Devaney Center.

STANDOUT STATS
- Senior outside hitter Sahbria McLetchie led Rutgers in kills with eight, her 17th match in 2018 at the head of the attack. She also had a team-high six digs.
- Junior middle Jasmine Stackhouse and freshman middle Merle Weidt each had three block assists, part of Rutgers' six total team blocks.
- Junior libero Karysa Swackenberg served up two aces to bring her season total to 22.
THE MOMENTS
- Set 1 | Coming off a Rutgers' timeout and trailing 9-4, sophomore right side Kamila Cieslik kept a point alive with a full body dive, and the Scarlet Knights capitalized with a kill by McLetchie to win the point.
- Set 1 | Following a delayed appeal for review by Nebraska, the Scarlet Knights went on a 4-2 scoring run including a double block by Merle Weidt and Sahbria McLetchie to gain some momentum near the end of the set.
- Set 2 | After an unsuccessful review attempt by Rutgers, Nebraska went on a 10-1 scoring run to take control of the second set.

The Scarlet Knights get set for its final road trip of the season, at No. 4 Illinois on Friday, Nov. 9 and at Northwestern on Saturday, Nov. 10. Both matches are slated for an 8 p.m. ET start on BTN Plus.
