Scarlet Knights Finish 12th Overall at Mid-Atlantic Regional

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Rutgers women's cross country team closed out the 2018 season on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships.

The Scarlet Knights placed 12^th overall in the 30 team field with Olympia Martin once again leading the pack.

Martin, a sophomore from Ridgewood, New Jersey, led the Rutgers field placing 37^th overall in a time of 22:06.

Sophomore Kiera Nealon was the second Scarlet Knight over the finish line and tied her best 6K time of the season in 22:30, while junior Nadia Saponara was close behind in a time of 22:33.

Also scoring for Rutgers were junior Lou Miahle (23:02), junior Stephanie Mauer (23:04), junior Emma Bergman (23:49) and sophomore Kaitlyn Bragen (24:05).
