Women's Basketball Contest With Charlotte Canceled

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The Rutgers women's basketball contest with Charlotte has been canceled after the Scarlet Knights and 49ers were unable to find a mutual date to reschedule.
The contest was originally slated for Nov. 16 at Charlotte's Halton Arena, but was postponed after a winter storm prevented the Scarlet Knights' travel.
Rutgers return to the hardwood opening up Big Ten Conference play on Friday, Dec. 28 at home against Northwestern and travel to No. 5 Maryland on Monday, Dec. 31. RU opens up the New Year closing out the nonconference calendar with Brown on Friday, Jan. 4.
