Women's Track & Field Set Sights on B1G Indoor Championships

Scarlet Knights To Compete Friday & Saturday at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's track and field team heads off to the 2018 Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend being held at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
FloTrack will provide live coverage of the 2018 Big Ten Indoor Championships. BTN will air tape-delayed coverage of the Big Ten Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships at 8:00 p.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 26. Events will also be streamed live on Friday and Saturday on BTN Plus via BTN2Go.
LAST TIME AT THE BIG TEN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Scarlet Knights captured eight season bests along with two top 10 performances at the 2017 Big Ten Championships.
Bryanna Grant took 10th in the triple jump setting a then-PR at 12.42m (40' 9") and a week later would set the school indoor record at the ECAC Championships with a distance of 12.62m (41' 5").
Classmate Sarah Robbie claimed 10th place in the 800m with a time of 2:10.34, a mark she would best a week later in earning All-East honors at the ECAC Championships Bria Saunders set her PR in the 60m at last year's event placing 14th in crossing the finish line in 7.53. She topped her previous top time of 7.54 set during her runner-up performance at the 2017 Metropolitan Indoor Championships.

Oniesha Clarke
The junior transfer enters championship weekend ranked fifth in the Big Ten in the 60m and 12th in the long jump.
Clarke's time of 7.44 at the Towson Tiger Invitational back on Jan. 13 was the third fastest time in the Scarlet Knight record books. It was also the Waterbury, Connecticut native's fastest time since posting 7.63 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships last season with Misericordia.
Additionally, Clarke has brought home the 60m title at the Metropolitan Indoor Championship.
In the long jump, the Scarlet Knight reached a personal best of 5.78m (18' 11.75") in winning the Metropolitan Indoor Championship title and more recently was the runner up in the event at the Valentine's Invitational.
Courteney Campbell
Competing at her first conference championship, Campell is currently ninth among Big Ten high jumpers. In her first Scarlet Knight competition, Campbell won the high jump title at the Towson Tiger Invitational with her season best height of 1.70m (5' 7"). The freshman was also the Metropolitan Indoor champion in the event and also posted runner-up heights at the Terrier Classic and Valentine's Invitational during the season.
Phyllis Gordon
The junior Scarlet Knight will race in the 600m where last weekend she placed eighth with a time of 1:32.50 at the Spire Invitational, racing on the same track as this weekend's Big Ten Championships. Her time placed her 19th among fellow Big Ten competitors in the event.

The school record holder in the triple jump, Grant has placed 10th in the last two indoor championships and is currently 10th in the Big Ten in the event. This season she claimed her third-straight Metropolitan Indoor triple jump title and reached a season-best 12.18m (39' 11.5") with her third place finish at the Red Raider Invitational.
