Junior Scarlet Knights Races To Time of 7.44 Only .01 Second Off Prelim PR

GENEVA, Ohio – The Rutgers women's track and field team wrapped up day two action of the 2018 Big Ten Indoor Championships as junior Oniesha Clarke claimed fourth place in the 60m finals.

The Waterbury, Connecticut native finished with a time of 7.44 in the finals, after posting a PR of 7.43 in Friday's preliminaries. Her preliminary time was also the third fastest time in the Rutgers record book.

Minnesota claimed the 2018 Big Ten indoor title with Purdue in second place and Indiana taking third. The Scarlet Knights finished 13^th overall.

Rutgers will return to completion on March 2-4 at the ECAC Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts.
