Scarlet Knights & Buckeyes Clash at 7 p.m. on Thursday
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's basketball team is back in action on Thursday as the Scarlet Knight tackle its third-straight nationally ranked opponent in #13/13 Ohio State at 7 p.m. at Value City Arena. The matchup between the Scarlet Knights and Buckeyes will be streamed on BTN Plus with coverage also available from WRSU, Rutgers student radio, with Lance Glinn and Dominick Savino on the call.

The Rutgers women's basketball team snapped a four-game slide and picked up its first top 25 victory since 2015 with a 63-56 win over then-No. 13/14 Michigan on Sunday at the RAC.
The Scarlet Knights were led by redshirt sophomore Ciani Cryor, who came off the bench and tied her season high with 16 points, while adding four assists and four steals. Redshirt junior forward Stasha Carey added in 12 points, while junior Caitlin Jenkins collected a game-high 10 boards in the win.
For Michigan, it was the Wolverine's lowest point total in Big Ten play this season and senior guard Katelynn Flaherty, the Big Ten's second leading scorer, was held to a season-low 19 points while also committing 10 turnovers. Additionally, the Wolverine's 26 miscues matched a season high.
Off those 29 Michigan turnovers, Rutgers was able to capture 29 points, the most points off turnovers by RU in Big Ten play this season.
ABOUT OHIO STATE
Thursday's game pits the Big Ten's top offense in Ohio State at 86.0 points per game, against the league's top defense in Rutgers, who only allows 57.1 points per game.
The No. 13/13 Buckeyes welcome the Scarlet Knights with an 18-5 overall mark and 8-3 record in Big Ten action
Ohio State counteracted a three-game Big Ten slide by winning its next three games with victories over Michigan State (78-62), Penn State (94-64) and Wisconsin (68-55).
Senior guard Kelsey Mitchell, the nation's active leading scorer with 3,141 points, leads the Big Ten and is second nationally pouring in 24.2 points per game.
Three other Buckeyes are averaging double figures with redshirt senior forward Stephanie Mavunga with a double-double at 16.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per contest, redshirt senior guard Linnae Harper at 15.2 points per game and redshirt junior guard Sierra Calhoun at 11.5 points per outing.
STRINGER MILESTONE NUMBERS TO REMEMBER
Rutgers head coach Stringer has compiled a 995-397 career record in 47 seasons and is five wins away from joining the elite 1,000 career victories club in women's basketball.
Stringer's 34 20-win seasons are second-best in women's basketball history. Former Tennessee head coach Pat Summit leads all coaches with 36 20-win seasons.
SCAIFE MILESTONE NUMBERS TO REMEMBER
Redshirt senior guard Tyler Scaife currently needs 120 more to move into second place on the all-time list past Cappie Pondexter (2002-2006).
Scaife has scored 481 points this season and kicked off the 2017-18 campaign 10th all-time in scoring.
