Get to know sophomore midfielder Sam Budd
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Sophomore midfielder Samantha Budd is in her second season with Rutgers women's lacrosse and has already made quite an impact for the Scarlet Knights. This season, she leads the program with 19 goals and is second on he team with 23 points through RU's first nine games.
This season, Budd has registered three games with four or more goals, highlighted by a career-high seven point, six-goal outing on Feb. 17 at Monmouth. Budd also leads the team with 34 draw controls and tied the single-game program record with 12 in the season opener at Temple.
Rutgers returns to action on Friday, when it travels to Columbus to face Ohio State at 1 p.m. ET.
