QUICK STATS
Visco registered her first goal of the season and third of her career, while Wright added an assist for the third consecutive contest. Overall, RU led SJU in shots 12-3 and in corners 7-3.
The Hawks' Mackenzie Ehresman scored the first goal of the contest, as goalkeeper Grace Bendon registered two saves in the tie.
THE MATCH
Following a 40-minute stalemate that saw RU leading in shots 2-1, SJU scored the first goal of the match in the 41
st minute. Paige Bergman took a free kick from 20-yards out to set up a Ehresman header for a 1-0 Hawks edge.
In the 66
th minute, Wright sent in a corner kick that Visco would guide to the back of the net to tie the match, 1-1.
Rutgers would lead Saint Joseph's 3-0 in shots across the two overtime stanzas, but the match would ultimately end in a draw.
