PISCATAWAY, N.J. –  Rutgers women's soccer travels to UConn for its first road test of the season. The match is set for Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. ET in Storrs, Conn.
 
RUTGERS QUICK KICKS 
	- Rutgers (3-0-1) recorded a 1-1 double overtime draw against Saint Joseph's on Thursday and a 4-0 win over George Mason on Sunday.
 
	- Sophomore forward Amirah Ali matched her career-high with two goals against the Patriots, leading the team and tying for first in the Big Ten with four on the season.
 
	- Junior midfielder Nicole Whitley matched her career-best as well with three assists against GMU, leading the team and conference with four assists on the year.
 
	- Rutgers is second in the Big Ten with 10 total goals, as six different Scarlet Knights have contributed to scoring.
 
	- RU is receiving votes in both the United Soccer Coaches Poll and the Top Drawer Soccer rankings, having opened the season ranked No. 24 in the nation.
 
 
SCOUTING UCONN
	- UConn (1-3-0) split its contests last weekend with its first win of the year over Central Connecticut (3-2) on Thursday and a loss to Boston College (2-0) on Sunday.
 
	- Sophia Danyko-Kulchycky leads the Huskies with two goals on the season.
 
	- In net, Randi Palacios has recorded 21 saves and a 2.00 GAA across four matches.
 
	- Dating back to 1987, UConn holds a 16-6-4 lead in the series with Rutgers. RU has won the last four meetings between the teams.
 
	- Most recently, the Scarlet Knights and Huskies met on Aug. 27, 2017, when Rutgers claimed a 2-0 victory at home.
