Women’s Lacrosse Unveils 2018 Fall Schedule

Scarlet Knights to host three home events in October
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse released its 2018 fall schedule on Thursday. The Scarlet Knights hit the road twice during the fall and host three events, all open to the public. All home events will take place on the F3 Fields located inside the Marco Battaglia Practice Complex.
RU opens the fall with a short trip to Princeton to face the Tigers on Sunday, Sept. 23. Princeton finished 13-6 this past season, which included an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Rutgers then heads to Baltimore for a tournament hosted by Johns Hopkins on Sunday, Oct. 7.
The Scarlet Knights host a quad tournament with regional foes Hofstra, Monmouth and Wagner on Sunday, Oct. 24 before they entertain Sienna on Sunday, Oct. 24. Rutgers closes out the fall season when it hosts New York Athletic Club and Alumnae on Saturday, Oct. 27.Fans are kindly reminded of the new parking guidelines for non-ticketed sports. Per university parking guidelines, guest event parking will require a one-time, online registration per sport good for the entire 2018 season. Fans attending any home women's lacrosse games this fall must register their vehicle, free of charge, here.

Rutgers closed out the 2018 spring season with a 7-10 mark while it navigated one of the toughest schedules in the country. The Scarlet Knights faced seven ranked foes in 2018, with six of those programs – James Madison, Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Northwestern, Penn, and Penn State – qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. JMU and Maryland advanced to the Final Four, with the Dukes winning it all.
