PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis welcomes Big Ten foe Penn State on Friday, Feb. 1 to the East Brunswick Racquet Club. Match time is set for 12:30 p.m. ET.

RUTGERS QUICK SERVES
- Rutgers opened its season with a 7-0 sweep of Delaware last Friday.
- Junior Jaci Cochrane contributed to the team doubles point and clinched the match win at the No. 4 singles spot. Cochrane and teammate Sydney Kaplan first sealed the doubles point with a 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot. Cochrane then added a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win in singles.
- The duo of junior Kat Muzik and freshman Tess Fisher continued their doubles' success from the fall with a 6-3 win at the No. 1 spot. The pair owns a 10-4 record including fall competition.
- Freshmen Sydney Kaplan and Kristiana Zahare also made their Scarlet Knight debuts, earning victories at the No. 3 and No. 5 spots, respectively.
- Penn State is on a four-match win streak to start the season, collecting home victories over Navy, Pittsburgh, George Washington, and Towson.
- Gabby O'Gorman and Fredrikke Svarre lead the Nittany Lions with 4-0 marks in dual singles play.
- The duo of Chelsea Sawyer and Svarre and the pair of Olivia Rohrbacher and O'Gorman have each collected four dual doubles wins.
- The teams last met in 2017, when Rutgers claimed a 5-2 victory on the road.
