Tennis Releases 2020 Spring Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis has released its 2020 Spring schedule which includes an even balance of 11 homes matches and 11 road contests.The slate features 11 Big Ten matchups as RU enters its sixth year in the league.
On January 24, the campaign begins with the Scarlet Knights hosting Army at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. RU then hits the road for three matches starting with Drexel on Jan. 25. A trip to Providence, Rhode Island, follows for contests with Brown (Feb. 1) and URI (Feb. 2).
Rutgers then returns home for six straight matches beginning with a doubleheader featuring NJIT (Feb. 7) and Binghamton (Feb. 7). Next up, conference play kicks off with Maryland on Feb. 14.
The remaining home games of 2020 include UPenn (Feb. 15), Seton Hall (Feb. 21), Nebraska (Feb. 26), Wisconsin (March 22), Indiana (March 27), Purdue (March 29) and Iowa (April 3). All of Rutgers home matches will be played at the East Brunswick Racquet Club unless weather permits the move outside to the Rutgers Tennis Complex on Busch Campus.
Road contests for the Scarlet Knights include Delaware (March 1), Minnesota (March 6), Northwestern (April 11), Illinois (April 12), Penn State (April 17), and Ohio State (April 19).
The 2020 spring break trip for RU will have contests against Bradley and Coastal Carolina from March 16-18 in the warm weather of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
