Tennis Preps for Midweek Match at Princeton

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis preps for midweek match at Princeton on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Start time is set for 5 p.m. ET.

RUTGERS QUICK HITS

Rutgers (3-1) collected a 5-2 win over IVY League opponent Brown on Saturday evening at home.
The Scarlet Knights claimed the team doubles point and four singles wins to top the Bears.
Sophomore Maya Jacobs leads the team with a 4-0 record at the No. 1 singles spot this season.
Junior Kat Muzik follows with a 3-0 record in singles action, splitting time at the No. 2 and 3 spots.

SCOUTING PRINCETON

Princeton (5-3) last competed at the ECAC Championships Feb. 8-10, earning wins over Cornell and Brown before dropping the title to Columbia in the final.
Grace Joyce holds the most wins in dual singles action for the Tigers with a 5-2 record across the No. 4 and 5 positions.
Head coach Laura Granville is in her seventh season.
The teams last met in 2018, when Princeton claimed a 7-0 win over Rutgers at home.
