Women's T/F Heads to Valentine's Invitational

Scarlet Knights Compete Friday at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's track & field team will compete at the 2019 David Hemery Valentine's Invitational on Friday February 8th at the Track & Tennis Center at Boston University.
LAST TIME AT THE VALENTINE'S INVITATIONAL:
Last year the Scarlet Knights finished with three runner-up performances in the jumps to highlight their appearance at the meet.
SCARLET KNIGHTS TO WATCH:
Oniesha Clarke
Senior Oniesha Clarke earned the runner-up spot at this meet last year in the long jump at 5.82m (19' 1.25") and took fifth place in her appearance in the 200m. Last week at the Metropolitan Indoor Championship, Clarke was runner-up in the 60m, with her best time of the season.
Courteney Campbell
Sophomore Courteney Campbell defended her title as the Metropolitan Indoor high jump champion, reaching to a height of 1.65m (5'5"). She finished second in the high jump at the Valentine's Invite last year, at a height of 1.70m (5'7").
Olympia Martin
Sophomore Olympia Martin earned two titles last week at the Metropolitan Indoor Championship, winning the 5000m (17:21.34) and contributing to the winning distance medley relay team (12:07.08).
Rhonda Rogombe
Redshirt junior Rhonda Rogombe took the runner-up spot in the long jump last week leaping to 1.60m (5'3"). Rogombe has placed in the top three in her last three appearances this season.
Iyanla Kollock
Freshman Iyanla Kollock posted an ECAC qualifying time last week in the 60m coming in third setting a new PR of 7.69. Kollock also contributed to the runner-up performance with the 4x400m relay squad.
