Omoruyi has seven double-doubles this season, while scoring in double digits 21 times. The Rexdale, Ontario native is 10th in the Big Ten in rebounding (7.3) and 19th in scoring (13.7). In the conference-only statistics, the team co-captain is 13th in rebounding (6.8).

Doorson is enrolled in the graduate school of education after earning a degree in human resource management with a minor in labor studies and employment relations in May. A team co-captain with Omoruyi, he has started all 30 games this season and is among the Big Ten leaders in blocks.

Baker and Omoruyi follow Corey Sanders and Myles Mack as Scarlet Knights to be recognized in the annual accolades. Sanders was an honorable mention selection by both the coaches and media in 2016-17 after Mack was an honorable mention choice by the media in 2014-15.

Projected to finish 14th in the preseason, Rutgers tied for 10th in the league standings and is the No. 12 seed in the Big Ten Conference Tournament. The Scarlet Knights will meet No. 13 Nebraska in a 6:30 p.m. (ET) opening-round tip off at the United Center in Chicago on Wednesday.
