PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 11, 2019) - The scheduled Rutgers softball home opener doubleheader on Tuesday, March 12 against Howard has been postponed due to field conditions caused by the late-winter snow and cold. The teams will attempt to make up the games on a date to be determined later.

The Scarlet Knights are now set to open their 2019 home schedule on Wednesday, March 27 against Fordham at 3 p.m. at the Rutgers Softball Complex.

Rutgers returns to action this weekend in the James Madison Invitational from March 15-17 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
