NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Rutgers women's rowing claimed the program's second-ever Big Ten Boat of the Week honors on Tuesday, March, 26 following a standout performance at the Cooper Sprints on Sunday.

After racing the fastest preliminary time overall in the varsity eight, the Scarlet Knights followed up in the Grand Final with a four-second victory over No. 20 Duke and third-place Navy by nearly eight seconds. The varsity eight was comprised of

The Big Ten Boat of the Week recognition is the second for the Scarlet Knights after winning the first weekly honor in program history last season following their sweep of Columbia on March 24.

The Scarlet Knights return to action on the Cooper River for the second-straight week on Saturday, March 30 for the Doc Hosea Invitational in Cherry Hill, N.J.
