
Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 4 Earn Big Ten Boats Of The Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers women's rowing earned two Big Ten Boats of the Week honors after opening the season last Sunday on the Cooper River at the Doc Hosea Invitational in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with the Scarlet Knights' Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 4 picking up the accolades.
In the morning session at Doc Hosea, Rutgers placed second and was only 0.5 seconds behind the first-place boat from #3 Yale and outstroked #16 Penn by 14.2 seconds. In the afternoon, the Scarlet Knight Varsity 4 earned the victory, edging #12 Syracuse by 7.7 seconds
