Scouting Monmouth
The Hawks enter Tuesday's game after it dropped a 15-14 heartbreaker to Army last Saturday in West Point, New York. Army's Caroline Raymond scored with 17 seconds remaining to complete the comeback and hand Monmouth its first loss of the season. The Hawks were led by Jenny Staines, who finished with four goals and an assist.
Through four games, Nicole Ceraso leads Monmouth with 20 points on 10 assists and eight goals. Allison Turturro is the Hawk's top goal scorer with 10 in 2019, while Megan Hart leads the team on the draw with 19 draw controls.
Riley Brager owns a 3-1 record in cage with 29 saves, a 10.00 GAA and a .453 save percentage.
Series History
Rutgers is 13-2 all-time against Monmouth, which includes wins in the last two meetings. Last season, the Scarlet Knights earned a 19-8 win over the Hawks in West Long Branch behind a career-high six goals from Budd and a hat trick from Brooks.
Naslonski on the National Scene
Naslonski has been one of the most dangerous offensive players in the country through the first few weeks of the season. The Randolph, New Jersey, native is tied for sixth in points with 31, is tied for 15th in the NCAA with 12 assists and is tied for 16th in goals with 19.
Within the B1G
Naslonski is second in the Big Ten Conference in points-per-game (5.17), tied for second in assists-per-game (2.00) and tied for third in goals-per-game (3.17).
Marin Hartshorn – a two-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week – is seventh in the league with 3.8 draw controls per game.
