PISCATAWAY, N.J. -Â Rutgers field hockey has announced the addition of seven new players to the roster for the 2019-20 academic year. The Scarlet Knights will welcome Amanda Beck, Allison Horton, Rachel Houston, Maggie Lamb, Isabella Mancini, Carly Snarski and Annie Walsh to the team.

Amanda Beck
Medford Lakes, N.J. / Shawnee High School
Forward/Midfield
Prior to Rutgers: Scored 81 goals and added 38 assists as a four-year varsity player … selected as Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association First Team All-State … two-time Lancaster Lebanon League First Team … three-time Penn Live Player of the week nominee … Max Field Hockey Top-100 recruit … U-16 club team finished third nationally and U-19 team finished fifth… parents are Eric and Marnia … father Eric, a Rutgers alum, wrestled at Pfeiffer College … has two older brothers, Andrew and Shane

Prior to Rutgers: Represented Ireland at the U-16 and U-18 level in international competitions, earning 11 caps … played for province (Ulster) on U-16, U-18 and U-21 teams … scored 73 goals in the 2018-2019 season … was team captain … won 2017 Interprovincial tournament … awarded top goal-scorer for three years in high school … was top goal-scorer for Lisnagarvey Ladies Hockey Club 1
st XI in 2018 … also competed in track events … parents are Janice and Stephen … has a young sister, Sarah … has multiple cousins to play at national level in field hockey

Prior to Rutgers: Played three years of varsity field hockey … scored 21 goals and added 31 assists … two-time First Team all-conference and two-time all-county … team captain as a senior … selected to senior All-Star Game … First Team All-North Jersey Group 4 as a senior … led team to conference championship and advanced to state section semifinals … also played soccer, lacrosse and ice hockey … started Randolph's first ever girls ice hockey team and was a three-time captain … parents are Lauren and Rich … has two siblings, Jordan and Ryan … father was the captain of the men's swimming and diving team at Glassboro State ... member of National Honor Society
