PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Senior defender
Christine DiLullo of Rutgers women's lacrosse was named to the IWLCA 2019 Senior All-Star Game, it was announced over the weekend. DiLullo will compete for the South Team on Saturday, June 1 on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland, with the game set for a 1 p.m. ET start.
A two-year captain for the Scarlet Knights as a junior and senior, DiLullo started 15 games for RU in 2019. The Marlton, New Jersey, native was fourth on the team in ground balls with 21 and also added nine caused turnovers during her final collegiate season. DiLullo finished her career with 64 games played and totaled 67 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.
DiLullo's selection marks the second consecutive season Rutgers will have a representative in the game, as
Amanda Casten competed last summer.
