Final Results
MADISON, Wis. – Senior Tony Jiang (-3) and junior Christopher Gotterup (-1) both finished under par and within the Top 20 to help Rutgers men's golf finish seventh at the Badger Invitational on Tuesday in Madison, Wisconsin. The Scarlet Knights finished the three-day tournament with a two-over-par 866 (289-290-287), which included a one-under-par 287 during the final round.
"I'm proud of the way we finished today on the back nine with a four-under-par as a team with our counting scores," said head coach Rob Shutte. "We lost our opportunity to move higher up on the leaderboard when we played it four over when it was playing easy. We're excited to have 10 good days to practice and get down to Wake Forest where we played well last year."
