Men's Golf Continues Fall Season at Old Town Collegiate

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's golf continues the fall season as it competes at the Old Town Club Collegiate Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The 54-hole event, hosted by Wake Forest, will take place Monday and Tuesday at the Old Town Club, a par 70, 6,966-yard venue.

Round 1: Monday, Sept. 23 - 7:30 a.m.
Round 2: Monday, Sept. 23 - After Round One
Round 3: Tuesday, Sept. 24 - 7:30 a.m.

The Lineup
Head coach Rob Shutte's lineup consists of junior Christopher Gotterup, senior Tony Jiang, sophomore Shayler Dance and freshmen Xavier Marcoux and Brendan Hansen. Junior Oliver Whatley will compete as an individual.
Last Time at the OTC
Rutgers enjoyed its best team performance of the 2018 fall season as it finished third at last year's OTC. The Scarlet Knights shot 13-under-par at the tournament, improving their 18-hole score each round (282-273-272) during the two-day event. Jiang paced the program with a tied-for-eighth finish, coming in at six-under-par for the tournament (70-66-68). Dance (-67), Whatley (68) and Gotterup (69) all shot under par during the final round, helping RU secure an eight-under-par 272, the second-lowest team score of the final round.
