Scarlet Knights continue partnership with RWJBarnabas Health for initiative
UPDATE AS OF MARCH 10, 2020: Rutgers women's soccer's "Fearless Together" fundraiser scheduled for Sunday, March 22, at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Courtyard will be postponed. A new date is yet to be announced.
In communication with RWJ Barnabas Health, our event partner, about the evolving COVID-19 situation, we have decided to postpone the event. We will continue to closely monitor developments and work to set a new date for the fundraiser.
All purchased tickets will be honored for the future date and registrants will be notified when the new date is selected. Rutgers Athletics and Rutgers women's soccer thank you for your support. Your registration fee supports the program and the resources the student-athletes need to pursue excellence in the classroom, in the community, and in competition.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's soccer is set to host the third annual "Fearless Together" fundraiser in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 3-5 p.m. The event – designed to bring the community together and inspire youth to be brave, proud, strong and fearless together – will include food, music, and guest speakers at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Courtyard.
Sarah Kustok headlines the all-star panel lineup of speakers. Kustok became the first full-time female NBA Analyst when YES Network promoted her from sideline analyst for Brooklyn Nets games. The Chicagoland Sports Hall of Famer is the recipient of three Emmy awards for her work at YES Network.
Rutgers senior Brittany LaPlant and Player Development Academy's Julianne Leskauskas are also set to speak on the panel at the event.
The event is a continuation of the Fearless Together campaign by Rutgers women's soccer. In 2018, the Scarlet Knights kicked off the initative with "Fearless Girl" fundraiser . Teaming up with Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez, the event, inspired by the Fearless Girl statue on Wall Street, was formed to empower and inspire strong, independent and confident young women to dream big and execute on their dreams.
Last year, the event continued with another night of amazing keynote speakers, including Olympic Gold Meadlist and World Cup Champion of the USWNT Heather O'Reilly.
Tickets to the event include food, a live DJ, and complimentary valet service for an enjoyable evening. Adult tickets will be $75, while tickets for children and teens aged 6-18 will be $35. Children under six are free. For more information and to purchase tickets, please click here.
Net proceeds of the event will be directed in its entirety to the Rutgers Women's Soccer Upper 90 Fund. This fund directly supports the needs of Rutgers women's soccer, both on and off the field.
