Meets 10+11: Gymnastics Hosts Pink Quad Meet on Friday at College Ave Gym

The Scarlet Knights then travel to UNH for quad meet on Sunday
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics is set for two quad meets this weekend, first returning home to host a quad meet on Friday, March 6 at the College Ave Gym. The 7 p.m. meet will feature West Chester, Southern Connecticut State and Cornell.
The Scarlet Knights then are back on the road for a trip to New Hampshire on Sunday, March 8. The 1 p.m. action will include host UNH, No. 15 Auburn, and Central Michigan.

Friday will be a Pink Out at the College Ave Gym. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The first 250 in attendance will receive a pink scrunchie. The day also marks Faculty Recognition Day, where each gymnast has the chance to honor a professor or faculty member who has impacted them.
Admission to the meet is free. For free parking, fans are asked to complete a one-time online registration. Once the one-time registration is completed access is available for all dates and locations of Rutgers' home meets. Fans can register by clicking here (PDF).

- Last weekend, Rutgers posted its second-highest score of the season with a 195.300 in a tri-meet at West Virginia.
- The outing was highlighted by a season-best team score on floor at 49.250. Junior Belle Huang earned a 9.900 for second place in the event, while freshmen Jordyn Duffield, Jenna Ferguson, and Hannah Joyner each posted personal-best 9.850s in the event.
- Joyner won the all-around, matching a career-high mark of 39.325. The freshman also registered a career-best 9.825 on bars.
- Additionally, Joyner owns an NQS of 9.910 on beam, ranking 16th in the nation.
- Rutgers continues to add new marks to the record book this season. Scarlet Knights have posted a program-best vault score (49.225 – Feb. 21) the second-highest road score in history (195.700 – Jan. 31), second-best beam score (49.200 – Jan. 31), and fourth-best floor score (49.250 – March 1) this year. Individually, senior Erin McLachlan posted the best score in program history on beam with a 9.950 this year.
