Ewing Cards Top-10 Finish at St. John’s Invitational

HASTING-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Representing Rutgers women's golf as an individual, junior Nicole Ewing produced a top-10 finish at the St. John's Invitational on Monday in Hasting-on-Hudson, New York. Ewing and sophomore Annalie Swanepoel competed for the Scarlet Knights at St. Andrew's Golf Course, as the tournament was shortened to just 18 holes after inclement weather on Tuesday.
With nine full teams participating, Ewing was the top individual finisher in the 59-player field with a three-over-par 74. Ewing rolled in birdies on holes four, nine and 14 and also collected 10 pars on Monday. Swanepoel tied for 49th with an 85 on Monday, highlighted by a birdie on the eighth hole.
Rutgers closed out its fall season at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate from Oct. 9-10 in Highlands, Ranch, Colorado.
