PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers women's basketball (3-1) hosts Harvard (1-2) to close out a season-opening five-game homestand on Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. inside Jersey Mike's Arena and live on B1G+.

The 5 Things to Know

1. THE SCOUT

Following a year-long pause, Harvard returns to college basketball with a 1-2 record to start the 2021-22 season.
Following losses to Boston College (86-60) and UMass (80-71), the Crimson picked up their first win of the season in its home opener last weekend, taking down Northern Illinois, 70-53.
Three Harvard players posted double-digit points, including Maggie McCarthy (16), McKenzie Forbes (15) and Lola Mullaney (10).
McKenzie Forbes made an impact in her first two games of the season. In her season debut with the Crimson, Forbes posted 20 points to lead Harvard's offense at UMass. The junior nearly had a triple-double, also adding eight rebounds and seven assists to her tally. Forbes followed that performance up recording 15 points against Northern Illinois in the Crimson's home opener.

Rutgers has been finishing games strong early in 2021-22. RU's highest scoring quarter has been the fourth in all four games (20 vs. St. Peter's & South Alabama, and 15 vs. Fairfield and Stony Brook).

4. WHO'S IT GONNA BE TODAY?

It's been four games, and four different starting lineups for the Scarlet Knights. In all four contests, no less than 10 different Rutgers players have contributed to the scoring, and all four games had a different scoring leader (Liz Martino, Stephanie Guihon, Victoria Morris, and Lasha Petree). Petree, Martino and Morris join Sakima Walker and Osh Brown as the five Scarlet Knights averaging 5.3 or more points per game through four contests.

5. TO THE POINTS

The Scarlet Knights are one of just five teams in NCAA Division I to boast three current 1,000-point scorers on the 2021-22 roster: Osh Brown (1,509), Lasha Petree (1,424), and Victoria Morris (1,400) combining for 4,331 points. Jailyn Mason has 966 career points and Shug Dickson has 913. They would become the fourth and fifth, making Rutgers the only school in the country to roster four or more 1,000 career point scorers.
