MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Rutgers women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2021 Big Ten Championships on Saturday.

- Five Scarlet Knights competed at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota this week.
- The 400 medley relay featured junior The 400 medley relay featured junior Katie Dougherty, senior Delaney Carey, junior Kasja Dymek and senior Lily Black with a finish of 1:46.29.
- Junior Yael Weber, joined Dymek, Dougherty and Black on the 200 free relay squad compiling a time of 1:38.99.
- Dymek also appeared in three individual events including the 50 free (24.26), a collegiate best in the 100 free (52.62) and 100 fly (56.63).
- Black competed in both the 50 free (24.26) and 100 free (55.71)
- Weber took to the water in a trio of freestyle events with a PR in the 200 free (1:57.11) and finishes in the 500 free (5:14.01) and 1650 free (17:52.01).
- Dougherty raced in both the 200 IM (2:06.22) and 400 IM (2:06.22) as well as the 200 fly (2:02.66).
- Carey took part in the 100 breast (1:04.76) and 200 breast (2:22.03)
- Junior Jenna Douglass represented the Scarlet Knights on the boards at boards at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatics Center on the campus of Purdue University.
- Douglass scored 247.65 on the 1-meter, a seson-best 258.35 on the 3-meter and 184.35 on platform.

- Junior Yael Weber was named the Rutgers recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.  All of the Sportsmanship Award winners have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. In addition, these honorees must be in good academic standing and must have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.Â
