Douglass Dives in 1-Meter & Platform Finals at NCAA Zones

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior diver Jenna Douglass reached the finals of the 1-meter and platform at the 2021 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships held at the Greensboro Acquatic Center.

The Cape Town, South Africa native was less than 11 points shy of qualifying for the NCAA Championships on the 1-meter on Thursday. She advanced to finals after scoring 252.20 on her first six dives and finished ninth overall scoring 247.70 in finals.

On platform on Saturday, Douglass advanced to finals for the second-straight season. She scored 187.10 during prelims and finished 12th overall with a score of 185.45 in finals.

The junior Scarlet Knight also competed on 3-meter on Friday. Douglass finished in 21st with a score of 229.45.

Douglass was making her second-straight NCAA Zone Championship appearance. Last season she took 24th on 1-meter and reached finals on platform placing 18th.
