Men’s Golf Readies for Loaded 2021 Spartan Collegiate

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's golf continues its spring season at the 2021 Spartan Collegiate from March 8-9 in Sea Island, Georgia. The three-round, 54-hole tournament features seven Big Ten Conference teams and will be played on the Plantation Course, a par 72, 7,060-yard venue.

Senior Christopher Gotterup carded three consecutive rounds under par to highlight action for Rutgers at the 2021 Kiawah Invitational, held from Feb. 14-16 in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The senior finished with a four-under-par 212 (70-71-71) to tie for 16th in the 90-player field, as the Scarlet Knights battled consistent wind throughout play during the final day to finish 11th.
Gotterup No. 21 in Latest PGA Tour University Rankings
Gotterup remains one of the top individuals in the country, as the Little Silver, New Jersey, native is No. 21 in the latest PGA Tour University standings. In addition to his performance at the Kiawah Invitational, the reigning Big Ten Player of the Year also produced individual wins over Branden Meyer (Nebraska) and Elis Svard (Ohio State) to open the spring season at the 2021 Big Ten Match Play Championship last month in Palm Coast, Florida.
