No. 4 Rowing Races No. 9 Syracuse & Princeton Sunday on Mercer Lake

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – No. 4 Rutgers rowing prepares for a final tune-up before championship season, hosting No. 9 Syracuse and Princeton, who is receiving votes in the CRCA Poll, on Sunday, May 2 with racing beginning at 11 a.m. on the historic Mercer Lake. The event is not open to spectators.
The Scarlet Knights will race the Orange and the Tigers on Mercer Lake, one of the premier racing venues in the country and home to U.S. Olympic and World Championship trials, and multiple NCAA Championships, most recently in 2017. A live stream of the events will be available on the @rutgerswrowing Instragram account.
The Scarlet Knights are headed toward the most important events of the season with full momentum. Rutgers received its highest national ranking in program history at No. 4 following an exceptional weekend at the Big Ten Invitational, where 11 out of the 16 teams competing were ranked in the CRCA Poll. Rutgers claimed 12 races out of its 21 entries against a stacked field.
The Big Ten Championships are up next on May 16 in Indianapolis.
